Bagaimana Mengira Perimeter?

Perimeter ialah ukur keliling.

Untuk mengajar murid mengenali perimeter, guru perlu menyediakan sekeping kertas berbentuk segiempat tepat, tali dan pembaris. Murid diminta menggunakan tali untuk mengukur kertas yang diberi. Setelah itu, tanda tali tersebut. Kemudian, angkat tali dan ukur pada pembarris. Murid akan memperolehi ukuran sebenar segiempat tepat.

Untuk mengatahui setiap panjang dan lebar pula, murid diminta mengukur panjang dan lebar segiempat. Dengan menggunakan rumus perimeter, tambah semua ukuran yang diperolehi.
