Pendakian Bukit Broga

Pendakian ke Bukit Broga disertai oleh 7 orang guru dan dua orang murid. Pendakian ini dapat membina ketahanan diri kepada semua peserta. Kami bertolak dari Sekolah pada jam 4.30 pagi. Kami solat di Kajang dan terus menuju ke kaki Bukit Broga. Dalam suasana gelap kami memulakan pendakian sehingga nampak puncak bukit. Terdapat 3 puncak bukit yang begiti indah sekali.
Walaupun penat, tetapi dapat diubat dengan leindahan alam yang begitu menawan sekali. Ketinggian untuk mendaki bukit ini adalah sejauh 1.7km. Banyak yang kita pelajari berkaitan Matematik dari dakian ini :
1. Pelbagai bentuk muka bumi
2. Terdapat perbezaan di antara ketinggin tanah rata dan bukit bukau
3. Memnegtahuai suhu di tempat tinggi dan rendah
4. Pandangan jauh dan dekat

Bagaimana Mengira Perimeter?

Perimeter ialah ukur keliling.

Untuk mengajar murid mengenali perimeter, guru perlu menyediakan sekeping kertas berbentuk segiempat tepat, tali dan pembaris. Murid diminta menggunakan tali untuk mengukur kertas yang diberi. Setelah itu, tanda tali tersebut. Kemudian, angkat tali dan ukur pada pembarris. Murid akan memperolehi ukuran sebenar segiempat tepat.

Untuk mengatahui setiap panjang dan lebar pula, murid diminta mengukur panjang dan lebar segiempat. Dengan menggunakan rumus perimeter, tambah semua ukuran yang diperolehi.
